How do I change the name on my professional development certificates?

The name that appears on your PD certificate is the same one that you have on your profile. Update your profile and your certificates will automatically update!

To update the name that appears on your Musicplay professional development certificates, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to workshops.musicplay.ca
  2. Select the green My Account button in the top-right corner; a dropdown menu will appear.
  3. Click on “Edit Profile”.
  4. Type the first name and last name that you would like to appear on your certificates.Screenshot 2024-09-26 at 1.54.00 PM
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the orange Save Changes button.
  6. Review your newly updated certificates under "All Certificates".

Your profile name can also be updated on Musicplay Online by selecting Edit Profile from the Dashboard menu in the top-right corner of the site. Changes made here will likewise update all of your existing certificates.

Please Note:

Changing your display name will automatically update all of your existing professional development certificates — no additional steps are required.
