How does Musicplay use AI?

AI Use on Musicplay

The Musicplay team is committed to providing high quality learning resources and materials. All of our resources are written and designed by educators and content creators on our staff. None of the educational resources published by Musicplay use generative AI as the pedagogical basis for our content. All educational materials are written by the educators on our team.

However, AI technology has increasingly become part of many of the programs and services that our staff and our users use every day. It is important to us to be transparent in how we assure these tools are used by the Musicplay team in a safe, trustworthy, and specific manner. Musicplay uses AI as a technological tool, similar to a word processor, editing software, or other functional computer program.

AI is not used by the team in the following ways:

Generating educational content.
Generating published graphics supporting our educational content.
Generating musical recordings for publication.
Generating musical notation of any kind.
In customer support communication.
To independently publish code or make unreviewed changes to our websites..
To process, analyze, or otherwise interact with district data, student data, teacher data, or other confidential information.
