We have many different types of PD tailored to each learner.
Webinars
The Musicplay Team hosts webinars on most Wednesdays at 6:30 EST / 3:30 Pacific (except July). Webinars are available by Zoom on the Musicplay Workshop site or livestreamed on the Musicplay YouTube Channel. Recordings of the webinars are also posted on the workshop site.
You can get Professional Development certificates following the live webinar, or by viewing the recorded version available in the event posting on the Musicplay Workshops site. Additional materials (slides, pdfs, pdf of newsletter) are also available in the webinar listing on Musicplay Workshops.
To view webinars on the Musicplay Workshops site and receive professional development credit, you must register for a free Workshop account. If you have a MusiclayOnline account already, you can access the workshop site through that account instead.

Sing! Dance! Play! Symposium

In this session, you’ll learn how to design engaging, student-centered projects focused on music genres, song analysis, and composition. Explore strategies for integrating technology into rhythm and melody projects to support creativity and musical expression. We’ll also discuss practical considerations for implementing PBL as a specialist music teacher, including time management, curriculum alignment, assessment, and supporting diverse student needs.
