Why is there no sound on my video?
Here are some troubleshooting steps if you aren't hearing audio on MusicplayOnline.
Speaker/Computer Volume
The most common cause of missing audio is that your computer or speaker volume is turned down. Always check this first when you experience sound issues.
Video Volume
Another common cause is that the video player volume is turned down. Volume controls are located in different places depending on the video source.
Primary Video Source
For the primary source, Vimeo, you can find the volume controls at the bottom right of the player next to the settings gear. The control is a small speaker icon. If you hover your mouse over it, a slider will appear. The higher up the slider is, the higher the volume.

Alternate Video Source
For the alternate video source (SproutVideo), the volume control is a small speaker icon located at the bottom left of the player, next to the play button. Hover over the icon to reveal a vertical slider — drag the dot upward to increase the volume.

You can also click on the speaker to toggle mute on the video.

Website volume
A third cause of missing audio is a muted browser tab. To check, right-click the tab at the top of your browser window and look for the option labelled "Unmute Site".

If "Unmute Site" appears in the menu, click it to restore audio. If you do not see this option, the tab is already unmuted and the issue lies elsewhere.
